  • To replenish consumables as required.

  • To ensure that work carried out considers the Grade I Listed nature of the building.
  • To keep up to date with other activity taking place within the Cathedral, and the impact this may have on workload and/or accessibility of areas of the building.
  • To report any issues or hazards as required and to flag any recurrent or major issues to relevant people.
  • To be self-motivated and able to work well alone.
  • To work collaboratively with all Cathedral colleagues.
  • To perform such other duties as are reasonably required by the Head of Tourism or other department managers when necessary.

As a Weekend Cleaner you will work within a small cleaning team but will be required to maintain good relationships with other departments, and will report in to the Head of Tourism and Engagement who will direct your activities in line with the core duties as described.
