Wedding & Events Assistants
Earnings of £9.18 - £9.50 per hour, plus Service Charge and Desirable benefits

At Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve, our newly opened Orangery and Pergola, along with the Mansion Hotel function rooms, are exquisite and unique events spaces, set in the grounds of a wild animal park. Our venues offer truly unique settings for weddings, conferences, and private events.
As a Wedding & Events Assistant, you will help us to deliver an amazing, unforgettable, experience for our guests. You will assist with waiting tables, serving canapes and drinks, polishing and cleaning glassware and cutlery, as well as with the clean up and close to get ready for the next day’s event.
Who we are looking for:
This role would be ideal for someone who is already working and looking for additional hours. You will have a passion for outstanding customer service, and will thrive working in a busy, fast paced environment. You will be a great communicator and will be able to work effectively with team members to deliver an amazing and memorable service.
Contract details:
Basic rate of pay is £9.18 for under 21’s and £9.50 for over 21, plus guaranteed share of service charge. Hours are worked on a flexible rota basis. Working hours may include day shifts, evenings, weekends, holidays, and unsociable hours.
A reliable form of transport would be essential due to the remote location of Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve. All applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Port Lympne Hotel & Reserve is a world-renowned wild animal park set within 600 acres of Kentish savannah. The Reserve is home to some of the world’s most rare and endangered animals and offers luxury short breaks accommodation, free roaming animal safaris, once-in-a-lifetime animal encounters and exquisite dining experiences.
