Website Experience Manager
London
As a Barclays Website Experience Manager, you will be responsible for designing and executing digital journeys. Supporting with the overall strategy for the Private Bank websites, managing change effectively while owning and delivering customer journey improvements. You will be ensuring that all customer journeys match our content strategy and customer experience principles. Challenging briefs that prioritise business needs over customer experience and collaborating with stakeholders to provide superior solutions.
We are currently in the early stages of implementing a hybrid working environment, which means that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. What will you be doing?
• Owning the overall platform strategy and development roadmap for the websites, collaborating with relevant teams to evolve the website vision and achieve business objectives
- Improving customer experience by using customer research/personas, user-centred design, content heuristics, search/traffic data, A/B and multivariate testing to develop user stories
- Driving the CRO agenda, implementing optimisation for increased conversions, reducing customer pain points across sites, improving CX and reducing both error rate /exit rate
- Being up to date about competitors, trends and best practice, relevant regulations including PECR, GDPA, CCPA, data privacy, anti-fraud ensuring that we are always compliant
- Being responsible for the ongoing optimisation of the websites using Adobe Analytics, Site Improve, SEO rules, tracking and managing approvals/ budgets etc
- Being the go-to person, managing development projects and owning the main website KPI’s and being responsible for providing data-driven, actionable insights into meeting them
- Collating and analysing various data sources to make measured decisions and providing regular reporting showing understanding of the audience, progress against KPIs and website health
- Being responsible for building key stakeholder relationships, influencing, and creating content that works for our customers, colleagues, and clients
What we’re looking for:
- Experience using Adobe/AEM in a content management including CSS, HTML and JS or digital experience role, ideally within a highly regulated industry with cross-border considerations
- Previously managed large websites and supporting the wider marketing strategy, including collaborating with design, UX, engineering, IT, Compliance, and legal teams
- Expertise in UX/UI design including creating wireframes, collaborating with development teams, can effectively deliver dev briefs and see projects through to completion
- Intermediate ability to collate data from various sources and create actionable insights for the continuous optimisation of the websites
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Exposure using Abode Test and Target and Adobe Insights preferred
- Experience in the use and advocacy of lean and agile practices and with project management principles and software (e.g., JIRA)
- Is resilient to challenge and looks for feedback and insight from everything around them, understanding of technical aspects of SEO
- Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables and experience in communicating and presenting information across multiple stakeholders

In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as; a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
