Job description
Are you an experienced editor who can learn fast and who is keen to take the lead?
We run a niche industry website featuring articles, case studies, podcasts, conference talk videos, and more. We are looking to create more content and help our audience drive more value from our existing library.
In this three month fixed term role (with the possibility of a longer engagement), we want to work with an experienced editor who will take charge of:
- The day to day running of our website and newsletter, including running the content calendar and handling the moving parts required to liaise with external contributors from idea to publication.
- Running our existing content series.
- Finding ways to make the most of our content library, such as creating playlists, summary articles, key takeaways, and more.
- Planning for the site's future.
We're looking for someone who has a proven track record of journalistic and editorial experience and who is willing to learn our industry niche.
As a hands-on role, you'll have a mix of writing, editing, and editorial management to take care of. The right candidate will look to own the website and newsletter, with the aim of giving our audience and sponsors the best possible experience.
You will be someone who:
- Has perfect English.
- Is experienced in setting up and managing a busy content calendar.
- Will be happy to mix hands-on writing work, such as podcast show notes and articles drawn from interviews, as planning the next great content series.
Ideally, you will have experience with:
- Wordpress
- Writing about marketing and tech industry topics
- Working with podcast and video sources.
This is a full time role, limited to three months initially. You should be happy working entirely remotely using Slack, Google Docs, and similar tools.

Contract length: 3 months
Salary: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
