As a Shopify Developer with expertise in Shopify Plus and SEO, you will play a critical role in the success of our e-commerce platform. You will be responsible for optimizing and maintaining our Shopify Plus store, implementing SEO best practices, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. Your technical skills and innovative mindset will contribute to driving online revenue and brand growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Shopify Plus Development:

  • Design and customize the Shopify Plus store to align with the brand's aesthetic and user experience goals.
  • Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes and templates, ensuring responsiveness across all devices.
  • Create and manage Shopify apps and integrations to enhance the store's functionality and user experience.
  • Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to implement new features and designs, ensuring a cohesive and engaging user experience.

SEO Optimization:

  • Conduct keyword research to identify high-impact opportunities for organic traffic growth.
  • Implement on-page SEO strategies, including meta tags, structured data, and content optimization to improve search engine rankings.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to track progress and inform SEO strategies.

E-commerce Conversion Optimization:

  • Identify and implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to improve the overall conversion rate and user experience.
  • Conduct A/B testing and analyze the results to optimize key website elements, such as landing pages, checkout process, and product pages.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective landing pages for campaigns and promotions.

Website Maintenance and Security:

  • Regularly update and maintain the Shopify Plus store, ensuring it is secure, stable, and up to date with the latest features and security patches.
  • Monitor website performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal user experience.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Shopify Developer, with a strong focus on Shopify Plus and SEO optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with SEO tools and strategies, including keyword research, on-page optimization, and technical SEO.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other web analytics platforms to measure and track website performance.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, marketers, and product managers.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively address issues and challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present complex technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
