Junior and HUNGRY and AMBITIOUS Web Developer required.
Salary: £24,000 - £28,000 based on experience
4-day work week and other perks
Location: UK, Remote
No agencies, advertisers or other assistance with recruitment.
Voodoochilli, a small but successful leading web agency, is looking for an experienced Web Developer to join our team.
This is a fully remote position; however, infrequent travel across the UK may be required to meet with clients or the team.

Responsibilities:
In short we are looking for someone driven that we can help train up into a world-class web developer. Someone with fire in their belly and the ability to embrace learning.
- Develop and maintain WordPress websites and plugins
- Develop pixel perfect bespoke websites from designs on Figma
- Collaborate with clients to understand their website requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Ensure website functionality and performance by troubleshooting and debugging issues
- Version control of projects using GitHub
- Adhere to web development best practices, including cross-browser compatibility and accessibility
- Deliver a great customer experience for support retainer clients
- Communicate effectively within the team and with clients
- Prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
- Work with the team to estimate time/budget for projects
Requirements:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL
- Ability to code websites without the use of off-the-shelf themes
- Experience with version control using GitHub
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks
- Ability to deliver work within the time agreed/estimated
Desired:
- Herefordshire or nearby based (not required)
- Computer science degree
- Experience with Slack
- Experience with Figma
