Job Summary
The candidate will be responsible for building new websites and updating existing websites, working within a clean, minimal framework with a view to be responsible for maintaining and updating the framework as time in the role progresses. This may include, but will not be limited to, new pages, contact forms and functionality, content changes and accessibility updates. The candidate must be able to build elements from provided Photoshop designs. This role may also include general technical support for clients queries regarding emails, website and server issues. There will also be data handling responsibilities including User Account management and processing files for uploading to platform databases.
Interviews will take place in <time> and will require candidates to sit a basic test mostly centred on problem solving skills and logical reasoning, with solutions implemented in basic HTML/CSS

Full time permanent position in an established web-design and online marketing company in Norwich. Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm with an hour’s lunch break.
Required Education, Skills and Qualifications
We’re looking for someone with a passion for web development and a drive to deliver increasingly improved outputs, somebody who can get on with what they need to do and follow directions where needed.
Professional experience is not important, aptitude and willingness to learn is essential.
The candidate must have a basic understanding of HTML, CSS, Javascript and responsive design principles.
The ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate skills in:
- PHP
- HTML
- CSS / SCSS
- JavaScript
- Responsive design using CSS Media Queries
- Turning Photoshop design into a fully functional website
We use PHP, SCSS & ES6 JavaScript in our website builds, however previous experience in these languages is not required as training will be provided as a part of working with the framework.
