WordPress Developer

Natural Angle is hiring a website software developer for remote working. Ability to commute to our showroom in Hove for initial meeting and hand-over is a necessity.

We are seeking WordPress Developer candidates who are passionate about web-development and all things tech.

As a WordPress Developer you'll work as a core part of the Natural Angle team to deliver digital solutions for our company’s needs. You'll play a key role in ensuring our website runs smoothly, is user friendly and has all the necessary elements for e-commerce. Concept development, and turning these into workable new web-based solutions is a big plus.

Your Responsibilities include:

• Building and maintaining a custom WordPress website

• Bug Fixing

• Optimising web performance and upgrading/updating features

• Working from home with the necessity of in-person meetings when needed

• Co-ordinating with our team to ensure the website fits the company’s style and needs

• Ensure responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility and security of all websites

• Optimising WooCommerce compatibility

The ideal candidate should be proactive, well organised, and reliable. A great team player with a positive attitude.

To be considered, the successful WordPress Web Developer will have:

• At least 2 years+ of experience developing WordPress-based websites

• Experience of developing custom WordPress Themes and Plugins

• PHP

• WooCommerce experience

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• First-class organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, multitask and manage time effectively.

• Own equipment that allows you to complete all of the above responsibilities.

Note: This is a part-time contract position with a flexible work schedule. Remote candidates are encouraged to apply. Flexible hours, 12-15 hours a week, remote working.

The candidate must provide demonstrable examples of work.
