.NET Developer
Greenfield Development in .NET Core & Azure
£60,000 - £70,000 per annum + Large Bonus

You’ve seen the TikTok videos. You know, the ones where a Developer is stopped in the streets of London and asked what they do & how much they earn. To your dismay they reply something crazy like they’re earning £100k with only 2 years experience…

Your Challenge:
This will be bigger than anything you’ve done before. Yet with twice the challenge, comes twice the satisfaction.
This is your opportunity to break into London’s Financial sector within a scale up Insurance company.
After 8 years of accelerated growth within the City, the company are now ready to embark on a huge technology transformation, building all their systems and application from the ground up. You will be part of this founding team of 4x Developers.
You’ll be doing almost exclusively greenfield development, building from the ground up and leaving your mark on the codebase from day 1.
There truly is no glass ceiling here, you will grow as their team and technology grow.
The tech stack you will use is beautifully Microsoft focused: C#, .NET Core, Azure, SQL, CosmosDB & Blazor on the front end (happy to cross train you from JavaScript).
Being in the City of London, this is a Hybrid role. This opportunity is only available to those who want to make their fortune and carve out a career for themselves in the city.
They aren’t unreasonable – You only need to come in the office 1 day per week (flexible on when you’d like that to be) after your initial 3 month training period where you’ll need to be in the office 3x per week while you gain exposure to the whole insurance sector (a huge opportunity in itself!). After this 3 month training, you’ll only need to pop in the office once a week.
About You:
You class yourself as a “mid-level” Developer. Perhaps 2-7 years commercial experience. You can stand on your own two feet and can crack on with coding – You’re definitely not a Junior anymore.
You’re ambitious and at that point in your career where you yearn for more and keep asking yourself, how can I take this up a gear?
You’re also a great communicator. In this role you’ll be working in London City & there aren’t any BA’s between you and the business & you’re not going to be sat in the “IT Department”. You’re going to fully ingrain with this business and have to be able to communicate with non-technical highflyers as you take to the skies yourself.
And lastly, you’ll have solid .NET Core Development experience, be able to work as a full-stack dev (what tech you use on the front end doesn’t matter as you’ll receive Blazor training) and finally you’ll have had good exposure to working with Azure – at least a years cloud experience.
