What will your main responsibilities be?

  • Working closely and sharing responsibility with lead developers to help manage and deliver projects
  • Delivering and maintaining a wide range of bespoke data analytics tools
  • Integrate existing packages with the codebase; create your own packages and building new tools
  • Working with our wider team to identify areas for improvements
  • Research new technologies and share your knowledge across the team
  • Help more junior developers by providing code reviews and organising team training

Our stack:

  • Vue 3 (Vanilla JS, Typescript, SCSS), Vite, d3, Highcharts on our frontend
  • Azure DevOps for our project management, hosting and pipelines
  • GIT (Azure) for our source control
  • C# .NET Core / Python for our APIs
  • MSSQL and Cosmos DB for our databases

What skills, experience and qualities do you need?

  • You are enthusiastic about frontend development, with a minimum of 5 years commercial experience
  • You have an advanced knowledge of our frontend tech stack or similar (see below) and modern best practises
  • You're familiar with version control, NPM packages and frontend dev tools
  • You have the ability to delegate within a team, work independently and manage your own workload
  • You have strong design skills, with an excellent understanding of user experience
  • You enjoy learning new concepts and are confident in sharing best practices
  • You have clear communication skills and able to express complex ideas simply to teams and key stakeholders
