Our award-winning digital team are looking for another digital evangelist. You will join a team responsible for the development and build of the University’s external digital footprint and will support both student recruitment and developing the Leeds Beckett brand online. You will also play a key role in raising the university’s public profile and support our major cross channel campaigns. As a critical member of the team you will help shape the development of our digital future.
We are looking for a digital content publisher to support shaping our future digital that will enable Leeds Beckett to stand out from the crowd. As a content publisher you will be responsible for taking the content and information provided by stakeholders from across the institution and transform that into engaging and output driven content for your external audiences. You will ensure that it has the maximum impact and meets the highest digital standards of UX, accessibility, SEO and legal compliance. Though copywriting is one element it isn’t just a wordsmith we are looking for, this is a role for a true content designer with a focus on bringing other contributors content to life.

In return you will work in a fast-paced and creatively stimulating environment and to join a nationally recognised digital team who are pushing the sector’s boundaries. Working alongside developers, SEO experts, digital marketers and UX designers you will be able to influence our next generation of websites and mobile platforms. You will also get the opportunity to join the team in developing campaigns, building chat bots, devising games, recruiting students, developing voice activated apps, sending out for pizza (or burgers… or sushi… or whatever…), winning awards, debating the Marvel Universe, carving pumpkins, and we might even need you to dress in the Beckett Bear mascot costume… And then in the second week you’ll really get the chance to do some outside-of-the-box stuff…
