Job description
The Private Bank Solutions life insurance and managed product development team act as both SME and workstream lead to analyse and implement changes across product development, product management, business or regulatory initiatives that require changes to our life insurance and managed product offering.
You will support and lead new life insurance product development end to end, through prioritization, design, development and launch, working across all functions of the Private Bank where necessary and ensuring results are delivered on-schedule
Job Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to innovate and enhance development and management processes, improving the client and adviser experience in the life insurance business
- Support and lead the analysis, assessment and implementation of change management initiatives, across our managed and life insurance business including assessing changes required to our product palette, business and operating model as a result of industry, regulatory or business led change
- Promote rigorous launch practices, including new business initiative approval procedures and risk identification building out effective processes for new life insurance product development and ongoing product management support
- Develop and manage relationships with stakeholders across regions (Asia, EMEA, LatAm and US) as applicable. Coordinate across the diverse perspectives of Legal, Risk, Compliance, Operations and Investment teams to develop/update legal agreements, marketing/regulatory material and procedural documentation
- Conduct business analysis to identify gaps and develop innovative solutions
- Organise calls, document minutes & project steps, ensuring effective timing and sequencing of deliverables to meet tight deadlines. Track project timelines and progress including reporting on key highlights, next steps and issues
- Provide assistance and information to Business Partners, Operations, Control Partners and Investment Teams relating to product development and management
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience in the asset, wealth management or life insurance industry would be beneficial - preferably in product development and management
- Proactive, highly motivated self-starter who enjoys working in a highly collaborative and matrixed environment to build consensus
- An entrepreneurial mindset and is able to apply critical thinking and a logical/structured framework to a variety of situation
- Highly detail-oriented with strong analytical and planning skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to manage stakeholders and explain complex concepts to different functions
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment, quickly assess situations, act decisively and capitalize on change
- Ability to multi task across multiple initiatives and deliver to a deadline
- Highly competent with core MS Office applications (e.g. Excel and PowerPoint) with python / programming knowledge a bonus
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Additional European languages a benefit but not essential - Italian, German, French or Spanish
