Your New Role…
We are looking for a Social Media Channels Manager to lead & operate our English language sports social media accounts across a variety of platforms including TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and Twitter.
In this role you will lead best-practice approaches required to maximise our content on these channels with platform-optimal content creation & up-to-the-minute channel processes tailored to the very latest algorithm and user behaviour trends.
Your Role Accountabilities…
Execute against the social media strategy, content production and media approach for Warner Bros. Discovery across our English language accounts across Europe & the World
Develop, utilise and lead adoption of our Social Media Guidelines and Playbook per platform for teams to work to and align our best practices.
Be the day to day relationship owner of our social audiences, keeping them engaged and enthused by WBDS and our content.
Work with our in-house central team, other local social media teams and social media agencies in support of our content creation teams in executing best practices against that
strategyWorking with the central strategy team who will set the right KPI’s and strategy that supports the overall Eurosport Digital Goals
Develop & build off daily/weekly/monthly social media reporting to make sure we are data-led in our development
Collaborating with wider Warner Bros Discovery teams, our rights holders, talent and other relevant brands to maximise the reach and consumption around our content
Qualifications & Experience…
Proven experience managing social media accounts for a sports related brand
A strong understanding of the social media landscape and the platforms we currently or could operate on
A passion for digital and particularly social-first content with an understanding around how that content is created and produced
A passion for sports, particularly Football, Tennis, Cycling as well as an interest in the biggest sporting event on the planet, The Olympic Games
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to work independently and within a team
Prepared to adapt and be flexible around working in sport, loves the unpredictable and thinks on their feet
Strong perspective on creative culture and practice
Availability to work weekends and off hours
Multi-language ability is a bonus
