Salary: £10.42 but may vary depending on age
Contract Type: Casual, Part-Time
Place of work: Waterfront, 139 – 141 King Street, Norwich, NR4 7TJ and such other places as may be reasonably requested by the Union.
Role Snapshot..
The Waterfront - the UEA Student Unions vibrant city centre music venue is now recruiting for Venues staff. Positions available include Bar Staff, front of house, cloakroom & crew.
We are very proud of our entertainment program & we are looking for good team players who will help us deliver the best customer service possible whilst delivering high quality, safe and fun events.
If you are enthusiastic, reliable, have great customer service skills & a love of music we are keen to hear from you!

What you’ll be doing…
You will be giving our guests, artists & visitors an unforgettable experience where great customer service is at the heart of everything we do, whether it be serving from an extensive range of drinks on the bar, meeting & greeting on the front door with taking customers payment or looking after our visiting bands & DJs on live or club nights with your technical assistance. As part of our team you will be a part of delivering some great events.
You must have…
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Ability to effectively prioritise
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain consistently high standards
- Communicates clearly and effectively
