Aqua Engineering Solutions Ltd are a water treatment company based in Morecambe, Lancashire. We operate throughout the Northwest of England; primarily in the Lake District. We are looking for an experienced engineer to help support our services to private water customers and (mainly) commercial wet leisure clients. This includes Swimming pools, Saunas, Spas, Hot Tubs, and Heat Pumps. We provide expert maintenance services, response to emergency repairs, installation of equipment, and technical support to both domestic and commercial customers throughout the Northwest.
We also provide water treatment systems for those who have private water sources. This includes the installation and servicing of Ultraviolet water treatment units. We also undertake disinfection of water storage tanks and pipework for the construction industry and water sampling for onward microbiological analysis.
This is a full-time, permanent position. We are looking for experienced candidates who have a strong work ethic, independent problem-solving ability and who can provide excellent customer service, who understand and can work to industry standards. You must have a full and valid UK driving licence for this position.
The working hours are usually Monday to Friday 7:30 to 4:45. There may be some weekend emergency call outs and opportunities for overtime when workload demands. Due to the nature of the work in our industry, you will occasionally be required to travel to other parts of the UK.
We have a friendly team environment here at our family run business. We provide a company telephone, company van, specialist tools, uniform & appropriate PPE. You will receive 28 days holiday per year, inclusive of Bank Holidays. The Salary for this role is in the region of £27K and dependant on experience. We will provide opportunities for further specialist training to the right candidate.
The duties may include but are not limited to:
- Servicing and Maintenance of wet leisure suites, including dosing systems, pumps, filtration and microbiological sampling.
- Installation and Maintenance of Ultraviolet water treatment equipment.
- Tank cleaning and pipework disinfection to relevant British Standards.
- Fostering good working relationships with Leisure suite personnel, representing our company in a professional and expert manner.
- Ensuring all activities are carried out with due diligence and to current guidelines with respect to relevant legislation and industry standards.
