Water Hygiene Engineer
Salary: £25-28k (depending on experience)
Location: Portsmouth based company- Field Based Role
Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm (with flexibility on weekends and over time)
We are currently working with an Environmental Company who are looking for a Field Based Water Hygiene Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to get into the industry as full training will be provided, or for an experience Engineer who wants to work for a growing company and is looking for long term progression.
Responsibilities for the Water Hygiene Engineer:
- Offering water hygiene compliance services
- Complying with statutory water requirements
- Adhering to Health and Safety Legislations
- Delivering many aspects of water hygiene management
- Carrying out planned and preventative maintenance inspections of water system, including storage tanks, temperature tests, shower head cleaning, disinfection, and water sampling, etc
- Following a preventative maintenance program
- Identifying deviations and making recommendations for corrective action.
- Acting as liaison between client and the head office
- Ensure that on-site records are maintained, completing relevant documentation.
Skills/Experience expected for the Field Service Engineer:
- Must have a Full UK driving Licence.
- Willing to travel the UK regularly, visiting around 6-8 sites a day
- Logical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
