A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Warrant Officer to join our expanding team at Smart Choice Metering within the Glasgow area.
Working within a specific geographical area you will be visiting our client’s customers at their commercial premises to re-engage communications around outstanding debt. You will discuss payment options, confirm meter readings, investigate instances of non-payment and theft and obtain details surrounding potential change of tenancy. Due to the nature of the role, you will largely undertake warrants of entry and removal of supply.
You will be responsible for the outputs of our warrants workstream and being part of the exciting growth journey that we are embarking.
Main responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Assisting customers to resolve financial difficulties and vulnerabilities
- Information gathering on properties and customers
- Investigating instances of potential theft of Gas and Electricity
- Undertake Warrants of entry
- Communicate effectively and professionally with all customers and clients
- Identify and appropriately deal with all disputes in line with client procedure
- Act and remain professional both with internal stakeholders and our customers
- Work effectively and professionally within the policies, procedures, aims, objectives and philosophy of the company
- Proactively work towards all targets set
- Be receptive and open to coaching and feedback to enhance performance delivery
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience working within a similar role is desirable
- Full driving licence
- Clean DBS
- Good organisational skills and ability to manage own work loads

*A full UK Driving Licence is required due to the travel for this role.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am and 8pm with the occasional Saturday as and when required. This will be discussed with and agreed with your Line Manager in advance.
