Warehouse Operative

Reporting to:

Group Fulfilment Manager

Job purpose:

We are seeking a highly reliable and experienced warehouse operative to join our team at a fast-paced fulfilment center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for efficiently handling inbound goods, outbound orders, and maintaining accurate inventory.

Location: All operational locations

Working Hours: Monday - Sunday 6am-10pm

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments of goods with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Accurately pick and pack outbound orders for shipment, ensuring on-time delivery and high customer satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory levels through timely replenishment, ensuring stock levels are optimized for efficient fulfilment.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, following all safety procedures and protocols
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
• Collaborate with other team members to achieve performance targets and continuously improve processes and procedures.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of high-quality results
• Demonstrated ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Experience with inventory management and replenishment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced & changing environment
• Strong focus on quality and efficiency
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Core values of reliability, efficiency, teamwork, safety, and professionalism
• Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50lbs) and stand for extended periods of time

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £11.00-£11.75 per hour
