Our client is a leading provider of repair and refurbishment services for a wide range of high-spec technology equipment, specialising in speakers and keyboard appliances.
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our client's dynamic team in Heywood. As a Warehouse Operative, your primary responsibilities will include order picking computers and laptops, performing general warehouse tasks, testing, building, and refurbishing computers. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading palletised goods, in addition to other associated warehouse duties.
Requirements:
- Excellent English language, both verbal and written
- Ability to work efficiently and meet targets in a fast-paced environment
- Ideally, prior experience in the electronics industry (though not essential)
- IT literacy and proficiency in warehouse management systems
- Previous experience working in a warehouse
- Strong literacy and numeracy skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Flexibility to work Monday to Friday, 08:30-17:30

Duties:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments
- Inspect and verify the accuracy of received goods
- Sort, label, and store items in designated warehouse locations
- Prepare and package orders for shipment
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counting
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking purposes
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
