Tampnet are now looking for a Warehouse Technician to join our team
The Warehouse Technician is a member of the Service Delivery Team. In this role you will support the team with project related logistical and Build & Test activities, and actively work with network teams to help configure equipment as needs arise. This position is also responsible for management of all storage spaces within the organization and ensures effective, efficient warehouse operations.

Main responsibilities and tasks
- Actively comply, enforce, and participate in Tampnet HSEQ policies and procedures
- Contribute to a positive work environment in the team / department
- Ability to lift up to but not exceeding 50lbs without team lift
- Support and assist with good in and goods out activities
- Operate machinery as necessary to perform duties
- Manage all documentation associated with the position
- Assist with management of storage locations including yard and annex space
- Continuously evaluate operational efficiencies in materials management
- Work closely with support teams to ensure proper execution of the project
Qualification requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in wireless telecommunications
- Minimum 1 year experience in warehouse setting
- Minimum 1 year experience in shipping and receiving role

- High degree of mechanical aptitude and electrical knowledge
- High tolerance for changing priorities
- Ensure that safety risks and business risks associated with activities are assessed and that appropriate checks, controls and precautions are being taken into consideration
- Be self-driven and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong verbal and written skills in English
- Flexible, reliable, inquisitive and proactive nature
- Ability to cope with a high pace of work in a hectic environment
