An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Warehouse (Packing & Despatch) within our client's business. We are seeking a highly diligent and efficient individual who can perform general warehouse and stores duties in the Packing & Despatch area of the warehouse.

So, what could a normal day consist of?

• Receiving advice notes, locating listed products, and packing and despatching products according to quality and customer requirements.
• Recording deliveries, organising them into kits or appropriate bin locations.
• Locating and assembling products detailed on pick lists for timely dispatch.
• Maintaining knowledge of all stores procedures to perform various duties as required.
• Assisting with cyclic stock checks.
• Ensuring high levels of housekeeping throughout the stores.
• Promptly reporting any situations or conditions that may affect the health or safety of employees or visitors.
• Complying with quality assurance and company procedures.
• Performing other ad-hoc duties as required.

The successful candidate for this role will be responsible for carrying out all duties diligently and efficiently, ensuring accurate recording of activities. The role will entail working for both the primary company and its sister company, so you must be confident working with different CRM and warehouse store systems. As this position will involve working with the defence sector, applicants must meet the government criteria, which requires them to be English nationals. Working hours are Monday to Thursday (8:00-17:00) and Friday (8:00-16:00).

What do you want from me?

To be considered for this Warehouse role, you will need the following experience:

• Experience in working in a warehouse or store environment, preferably in a packing and despatch area
• Familiarity with receiving and recording deliveries, as well as organising products into appropriate locations
• Ability to locate and assemble products based on pick lists for timely dispatch
• Store attention to detail and accuracy in conducting and recording activities.
