An exciting opportunity has arisen for new Warehouse Operative to join our Thetford Team on a full time permanent basis.
Our core hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30, weekend working is required on a rota basis. We also run shifts outside of these hours, so a can-do attitude flexible approach is needed, Team ethos is highly regarded.
Overtime is payable at time and a half outside of 40 hours with double time on Sundays.
We are looking to employ an all-round team player to work as a Warehouse Operative. This is a diverse opportunity ranging from handballing, carton picking, stacking and FLT driving. Part of the job involves manual handling work with training alongside with the potential to be trained on PPT, Counterbalance and Reach trucks. Our Reach Trucks are 360° steering, and our stores utilise drive in racking as well as bulk storage and so candidates must be comfortable with this set up. Our stores run at temperatures ranging between -3°C and -25°C, candidates must be happy to work in the cold, full PPE will be supplied.
Pay grading - dependant on experience.
Desirable:
- Reach, PPT or Counterbalance Truck Certificates.
- Previous Coldstore experience.
