Job description
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative with varied experience of working in a fast paced environment, to work as part of our small friendly team based in Ashton Vale, Bristol. We are wholesalers of sundry goods.
Hours: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday : 10am-6pm
Wednesday : 9am-6pm/Friday : 9am-4pm
£12 per hour
We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy candidate that ideally will be able to demonstrate:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good understanding of logistics and warehouse operations including inventory and stock control
- Good time management skills with the proven ability to manage a busy and varied workload
- To be able to use own initiative
- Good standard of English
- Teamwork and cooperation.
- Good communication skills.
MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB
A warehouse assistant’s job is to provide assistance in everyday operations of a warehouse in order to do this, they have to perform various activities including but not limited to:
Loading - Unloading
Storage and Stock Control
Goods In/Out
General Responsibilities
Order Picking
No forklifts are used
The role is a full time position with 28 days paid holiday plus 10+ days over Christmas period
Immediate start
Candidates local to BS3/BS4/BS13 will be ideal to ensure an easy commute to and from work.
