Team Manager
About the opportunity:
We are recruiting a Team Leader at Poundland's Digital Fulfilment Warehouse, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the day-to-day operations of your area. You will ensure that all orders are processed accurately and efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will also be responsible for managing a team of warehouse operatives, ensuring they are trained and motivated to meet the required productivity and quality standards.
Please note the shifts will be running on a 4 days on and 4 days off 07:00-19:00 on a weekly basis
What you will be doing...
- Ensure the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Manage and motivate a team of warehouse operatives, providing training and support where required
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently, meeting required productivity and quality standards
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained at all times
- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including dispatch, receipt, and storage of goods
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Prepare reports on team performance, including productivity and quality metrics
- Collaborate with other Team Leaders to ensure effective communication and coordination of activities
What you will need...
- Experience in warehouse management or a similar role
- Understanding of health and safety regulations and procedures
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems and inventory control
- Knowledge of dispatch and logistics operations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience with team management and motivation
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
