Job Title: Warehouse Technician

Seeking a motivated Warehouse Technician to join our team. Working under the supervision of the Logistics Team Leader with the guidance of other members of operations, maintenance, and plant management.

  • Starting hourly pay of $20.91 based on knowledge and demonstrated skill

WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH:

  • Deliver goods to production areas that have been called for in a timely, accurate, and safe manner.
  • Check for deviations before beginning deliveries and read communication notes/staging reports.
  • Perform basic mechanical adjustments and perform required mechanical PMs.
  • Operate walkies or forklifts in safe and efficient manner where waste is minimized and where operator and pedestrian risk is eliminated
  • Timely completion of paperwork and work orders to ensure that repairs are made as soon as possible.
  • Understand and follow factory management systems for human safety, food safety and/or environmental management. Understand and actively work toward achieving management system targets and objectives.
  • Report incidents and unsafe conditions immediately, maintain compliance with regulations, and refer to the appropriate management system on all related procedures and programs.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
Skills:
  • Reading, math (addition, subtraction, division, fractions, and percentages), and computer skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Basic mechanical aptitude (i.e., correct use of wrenches, drivers, pliers, and lubrication techniques).
