Job description
Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for our client based in Braintree on a temporary to permanent basis.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Receiving of deliveries
- Unpacking incoming shipments
- Identifying damaged items
- Recording shortages
- Communicating with internal staff
- Verifying and keeping records of deliveries up to date
- Prepare and loading goods for dispatch
- Assist with manual handling tasks when necessary
- Using the in-house computer system to log information
- Storing goods in the warehouse using manual processes
Experience, Education & Qualifications:
- General warehouse experience preferred but not essential
- Good level of data entry
- General Computer Skills
- Organisational skills
- Problem solving skills
- Team Player
- Attention to detail
- Forklift licence (Counterbalance or Flexi) advantageous but not essential
Working hours are Monday – Friday 9am - 6.45pm.
In return our client offers a salary of up to £10.42 per hour.
