Job description
LF&E Refrigerated Transport are a pharmaceutical delivery service and have seen significant growth over the last 2 years and we expect this to continue. This means we have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Warehouse Operative.
Job Purpose –
As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for and assisting with the sortation of orders within our supply chain, reporting to the Sortation Supervisor. This will include but not limited to checking for damages, checking for missing items, the movement of orders through our facility in Ashby de la Zouch, along with picking and packing orders with accuracy and attention to detail. Main duties include:
- Ensuring new stock has been checked against supporting advice/delivery notes
- To check goods for damage or mislabeling
- Ensuring new stock has been put away upon completion of relevant documents
- Relocate stock
- Picking product upon receipt of customer orders
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept tidy and passageways are clear of potential hazards
- Ensure that they abide by all Health & Safety Regulations.
- Relevant fork lift truck training.
This will be an Night shift working from 10PM-2AM but may change depending on business needs, ability to be flexible.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in a busy warehouse environment. Good attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, be self motivated, committed, highly organised and efficient.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £11,180.00 per year
