Job description

Hours of work will be 45-48 hours per week Monday - Friday - 6am start - approximately 3:30pm finish (will need to be flexible).

Job Purpose:

You will manage the movement of goods throughout the business. You will be part of a team that help improve our business and will be supported by a management team that want you to succeed. The role will mainly (but not exclusively) include Warehouse/ freezer management, stock replenishment and raw materials ordering as well as monthly stock counts. You will liaise with production and sales team daily ensure that goods are sent out on time to customers. You will be aware of the sales pipeline and ensure stock levels are exposed to the purchasing team for accurate ordering.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

- Receiving, inspecting and documenting goods inward

- Pallet building and loading goods outward

- Maintaining orderly pick areas and appropriate stock levels.

- Meeting production and sales teams to understand stock requirements

- Maintaining finished goods stock levels.

- Ensuring warehouse and site is a clean and tidy environment

- Reporting and maintaining warehouse stock levels

- Ensuring health & safety codes of practice and legislation are adhered, following company quality standards

- Load and off-load vehicles

- Helping the onsite technical team adhere to the BRC site regulations

- Your team will be responsible for the good upkeep of the external areas

- Emptying recycling bins / food waste bins

- Allocating GRN numbers to company software and labelling of goods

There will be times when you may be required to undertake additional tasks, duties and responsibilities within your capabilities and may be asked to undertake an alternative job on a temporary basis. However, you will not ordinarily be assigned to duties or required to perform services which you cannot reasonably perform or are outside the range of your normal skills and experience.

Ensure that Health and Safety standards are adhered to, communicating any concerns to a senior team member
