Job Summary
Sales & Warehouse assistant (varied role)
We have an excellent opportunity for a part-time (20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9am to 1pm) Sales and Warehouse assistant here at our family run business based in Cannock. Our company is looking for an enthusiastic, dedicated, and personable employee with a good attention to detail. The right candidate will need to be organised and an excellent team player as well as the ability to work on their own.
LVS is a trade supplier to the leisure industry, predominantly supplying parts to motorhome and caravan manufacturers. The role within our company will be varied and as such would suit someone that is flexible and happy to switch roles. Excellent future opportunities.
Responsibilities and Duties
Core Responsibilities:
- Warehouse Work
Processing orders, picking and packing in the warehouse, organising stock and general tidying.
- Returns Processing
Accepting and assessing returned goods, generating credit notes/dispatching replacement items to customers, organising the return of damaged goods with suppliers.
- Warranty Claims
Liaising with customers to diagnose a products issue and work with them to achieve a resolution, giving general product support to customers,
- Sales Enquiries
Answering any general sales enquiries by phone or email.
PLEASE NOTE: As items such as seats, swivels etc can be heavy, we ask that all applying candidates are able to lift 25kg comfortably on their own.
Day-to-day activities:
- Answering phone and e-mail enquiries.
- Processing sales orders.
- Warehouse management.
- Stock control.
- Warranty Claims
Qualifications and Skills
- GCSE English and Maths C and above.
(Whilst an array of qualifications and experience may help you perform the job required, being a small business working relationships are close. As such we are happy to train the right candidate with the right personality and work ethic regardless of their experience or skills. )
- Experience within an office or warehouse environment beneficial but not essential.
- Hands on, willing to learn how things work in order to better understand the product range. Flexibility to work in various roles.
- Self-motivating with the ability to use initiative.
- Able to work alone or as a part of a team.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary: £10.50-£12.00 per hour
