Warehouse Operative SLHD
Grade/Salary: Grade 3, (£22,369 - £24,054) pay award pending
Hours/Type: 37 hours per week permanent
Location: Shaw Lane Depot, Doncaster

St Leger Homes is an award-winning, customer focused social housing provider that manages over 20,000 homes on behalf of Doncaster Council.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to work within our Warehouse Team.
The Warehouse Team receives materials from builder’s merchants and then subsequently issues them to our workforce and this role is crucial to that process.
Part of your day to day duties will be order picking building materials so that our repairs and maintenance team can undertake day-to-day and planned repairs. In addition to this, there may be occasional times when the candidate will be required to deliver materials around the borough and co-ordinate traffic in and out of the depot and yard.
Candidate Requirements:
The post requires a NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field or the willingness and capacity to work towards a qualification.
They will also require a good knowledge of the duties required in warehousing, storage and distribution, gained through practical experience.
Due to the nature of the post it will involve a significant level of manual handling and involve standing for prolonged periods.
The successful applicant for the role must be disciplined, IT literate, flexible and have a can do attitude.
Appointment to the post would be subject to a pre-employment medical questionnaire being completed.
