Temporary Retail Assistants – Warehouse Stafford

Hours: From 15 to 37.5 hours available week, flexible over

a 7 day trading period

Salary: £20,375 per annum, (Pro-rata)

Our recycling warehouse on St Alban’s road in Stafford is one of 14 retail outlets for Katharine House Hospice, which provides free specialist palliative care through a range of services to the people of Mid-Staffordshire.

Our shops are the face of our retail brand, so if you want to work in a role that makes a positive difference every day and help Katharine House offer the best care to people in our community affected by progressive illnesses live life to the full – then look no further!

In this hands-on role, you will be required to work with a team of dedicated staff and volunteers to maximise sales and increase profitability. The role is challenging but rewarding and every day will be different with the list of duties varied.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in a retail/customer service environment, although training will be provided, with high standards, and an enthusiastic and helpful attitude. You will assist the store management team in the daily running of the store and this all round position includes processing donations, till work, general housekeeping, pricing etc,. This is a physically demanding position in a busy retail environment with some lifting of furniture/donated goods required.

You must have availability over 7 days, please note this position will include weekend working.
