Looking for a new warehouse role in Woking with plenty of scope for progression and promotion? This is a warehouse career opportunity, not a job. We are looking for a warehouse operative in Woking with at least 2 years' experience to support our Warehouse Manager in our warehouse team. You will be working for an organisation that looks after their warehouse team and offers training and development to everyone. Jointing Tech are a £30 million turnover company with locations throughout the UK, supplying cable and accessories to the power industry. Based in Woking you will join a company with a commitment to training, where you will be supported to make the best of your potential. You need to be a team player, practical, physically fit, organised and a good communicator as you’ll be regularly meeting and talking to clients who visit our warehouse. If you’re technically minded so much the better. Ideally you will have a forklift licence but this is not a necessity as we can organise this for you.
You will be involved in
- Order picking and packing
- Order fulfilment
- Stock rotation
- Optimising warehouse organisation
- Maintaining and updating records & data which relates to warehouse inventory management and stock requirements
- Maintaining good communication between departments
- Health and Safety in the warehouse
- Pre-use checks on machinery
