Imperial Personnel are looking for Order Pickers to work for our client in Goldthorpe, Rotherham.

The client is a national supermarket and is looking for candidates to join their team on a long-term tempoary to permanent basis. This position is a 12 week temporary to permanent role with excellent pay rates.

You will attend a walk around lasting up to 1 hour for you to have a site tour to make sure that this is the job for you, if you are successful and like the role you will attend structure training the following week.

The work

In the position you will be order picking, using a headset. The Headset will tell you were abouts to go in the warehouse, once you get to the isle you will confirm a couple of digits back to confirm you are picking the right item and move onto the next. You will be picking on the produce section, so all products are between 10-20kg. This is and very physical shift so you must be physically fit and fine with heavy lifting. All work is done on a LLOP ( Low level order picker ) if you havnt driven one of these before don’t worry you will get full training. The LLOP saves you walking round the warehouse and also saves strain on your back because the forks move up and down. Once you have picked your full order you will wrap it and drop it at the correct loading bay and move onto your next pick . The position is fast paced and you will also have a pick rate to achieve, you will be expected by your 12th week to be hitting this.

PPE

You must wear safety boots and Hi Viz.

Requirements

No previous experience required as all training will be given. What is required is to be punctual and a desire to work effectively. Involves a lot of heavy lifting so needs to be physically fit for the role as it is a demanding role.

Shift Details

5 out of 7 - 4 week rolling rota provided.

18:00pm-finish – finish ( you must be prepared to work up to a 12 hour shift )

Pay

£11.48 ph. increasing to £13.78 between 22:00pm-04:00am.
