Store Assistant
Homemakers 1st stop is looking for a Store Assistant to join our team! We are a family owned and operated business that has been serving the community for over 30 years. We are seeking a positive, team player who is eager to learn and grow with us.
Driving license is essential for this role.
Job Responsibilities
We are looking for a hard working, reliable person to work in a full time multiskilled role within our fast growing family run store. Their roles will primarily include;
Taking in supplier deliveries
Checking off and allocating supplier and customer orders
Help customers within the store
Maintain the appearance of the store by stocking shelves with a variety of merchandise.
Deliver customer orders
Load up skips with waste from kitchen and bathroom jobs.
Job Requirements
Full driving license
Prior retail experience is preferable but not essential
DIY Knowledge is preferable
Strong communication and time management skills
The ability to work in an organised manner
Strong work ethic
Education & Experience
·Previous experience driving large van is strongly preferred.
·Previous experience in retail environment strongly preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30-37 per week
Salary: From £10.42 per hour
