We have a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic individual to join our team in Chesterfield as a Warehouse Coordinator. The role will offer a great pathway into logistics with hands-on training and a great team. It’s an exciting time to join. About the role
As a Warehouse Coordinator you will act as an advocate of the Gist culture, values, and safety standards. Your role will be to support the Warehouse Shift Managers with the smooth functioning of the Warehouse operation, ranging from picking, intake, out loading, and value-added operations. You are responsible for executing the essential tasks to ensure we meet and exceed our customers' expectations on a daily basis.
You’ll be task focused and inspiring to your team by demonstrating what success looks like.
Salary: £26,500
Hours: 40.25 per week
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (Days)
What you’ll be doing
- Liaise with customers confirming daily orders and queries
- Check inbound stock deliveries from suppliers
- Create pre-advices, stock reports and complete traceability tests when requested
- Complete regular stock checks
- Oversee picking, decanting and allocate jobs to staff
- Regular stock rotation to ensure correct dated stock is picked
- Provide a thorough handover to end of shift
- SHEQ (Safety Health Environment Quality)
- Delivering ReMARKSable Value
- Deputising for the Shift Manager in their absence
- Create task plan for section leaders
What you’ll need
- Structured leadership style enabling the team around you to be the very best they can be
- The ability to identify and evaluate potential risks and where possible develop solutions to mitigate these
- Contribute to the implementation of new ways to improve performance Service
- Good communication skills
- Team player attitude, able to recognise and lend a hand where necessary
- A strong understanding of Health and Safety compliance.
- Excellent relationship building skills
- A flexible approach to your hours and duties
