We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to start as a Warehouse Operative in a reputable hydraulics company. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations. You will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring that the customers receive their products on time and in pristine condition. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be key to maintaining their high standards of service.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently pick orders from inventory based on provided packing slips or instructions.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure order accuracy.
- Prepare shipping labels and arrange shipments for delivery.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse for easy accessibility of products.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet daily targets and deadlines.
- Operate a forklift to move and organize heavy materials (Forklift license preferred).
Requirements:
- Previous experience in picking and packing is preferred.
- Forklift license is a strong asset for this role.
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Physical fitness to handle lifting and moving of heavy objects.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.
