Our London office is seeking a Warehouse Operative to work in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
Candidates should have 1 or more years' of experience in a warehouse environment. Forklift training certification (counter balance forklift) is preferred. This candidate could potentially move into a permanent Warehouse Operative role.

- Responsible for all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Shipping
- Picking goods using barcode scanners
- Ensure accuracy of shipments
- Packing goods for suitable transit to customers
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
- Driving the counter balance fork lift/scissor lift as required
- Take ownership of booking deliveries/collections via courier or Road/Air agents
- Handle paperwork
- Working with Logistics Coordinator for Certificate of Origins/CI’s
- If appropriate, research quotes for shipments, providing Customer Service with cost effective pricing that meets customer’s needs.
- Log all non-Ex-works shipments onto spreadsheet on a daily basis
- Ensure all picking lists printed and fulfilled or updated on a daily basis
- Receiving goods
- Checking for condition.
- Purchase orders, compare PO against goods received,
- Book into ERP system using barcode scanner.
- Print storage lists and use to put goods away in correct bin locations.
- Create space for goods with no location and log in ERP using barcode scanners
- RMA/RE goods
- Check for damage to packaging, if damaged take photo, advise TS Admin
- Check product is same as on RMA/RE
- Book into ERP system, apply correct colored tag and place in TS area for TS Admin to complete.
- Facility deliveries
- Check condition, advise Reception Admin any issues immediately
- Compare PO against goods delivered
- Book into ERP system and put items away immediately in storage lockups.
- Assist with inventory
- Perform cycle counts daily of stock as printed by finance
- Ensure stock is in correct storage locations
- Work with Logistics Coordinator to fix
- Ability to lift within H&S guidelines, requesting assistance or using tools provided
- Provide customer service via telephone, e-mail or face to face with internal and external customers
- Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse at all times.
- No aisles / fire extinguishers / escape routes to blocked at any time.
- Ensure all stock is put away in correct locations
- Assist Marketing to keep storage area tidy and stored safely.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trade show trucks.
- Configuration of Sensor Racks:
- Add additional parts as needed to meet customer requirements
- Reconfigure units due to overstock or shortage on existing inventory
- Ensures product conforms to documentation
- Completes appropriate test paperwork and serialization information and update
- Performs other reasonable duties as assigned
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- 1 or more years experience working in a warehouse environment
- Forklift training certification (counter balance forklift) preferred
- Knowledge of part numbers
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (occasionally working late nights and/or overtime)
- Good Communication
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of computer programs such as Outlook, Word and Excel
- Customer service skills
- Competent use of small hand and electrical tools
- Ability to lift within H&S requirements
- Understanding of manual handling
