Driver’s Mate
Location: Lichfield
Job Description:
The Driver’s Mate will accompany the driver on a multi drop delivery route, assisting to load and unload the vehicle. This is an ideal role for a school leaver looking to start a career in Transport.
Full training will given to the right candidates
Qualifications:
- Good Communications skills
- Must be able to work full time, starting from 12:00 onwards
Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Driver with loading and unloading the vehicle
- Ensuring customers orders are checked and signed POD is gained
Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to:
- Lifting and carry boxes into customer premises
- Using a manual trolley to move heavier loads over extended distances into customer premises
