Job description
CML stores and delivers a wide variety of food products in a chilled temperature environment. whilst also offering a series of added value solutions to its clients. The site has 7500 pallet spaces and 19 loading bays.
We are looking for General Warehouse Operatives who want to work within a fast paced, challenging, and growing business. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company which will grow and help you to improve on your existing skills and qualifications.
We are now recruiting for General Warehouse Operatives with a Reach Licence on a full time, permanent contract at our CML site in Lutterworth paying up to £15.75 per hour.
Shifts and salary available: 4ON 4OFF shift pattern.
- Days – 06:00am-18:00pm - £14.00 per hour (inclusive of bonuses and increments)
- Twilight – 12:00pm – 00:00am - £14.75 per hour (inclusive of bonuses and increments)
- Nights – 18:00pm – 06:00am - £15.75 per hour (inclusive of bonuses and increments)
- The shift patterns above operate on a Banked Hours Scheme.
This role includes but is not limited to:
- Loading and unloading pallets using a PPT.
- Picking and put away using a Reach Truck.
- Loading and unloading different type of trailers using RF GUN – to scan pallets.
- Moving pallets throughout the warehouse and allocating them to relevant locations
This is a very engaging role due to the fast-paced nature of our operation
- Ability to work within a chilled environment of 2-5 degrees.
- In date Reach truck Licence is essential – either in house or out house Licence.
- Able to work to targets within a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of verbal and numerical reasoning
- Conscientious and reliable nature

- A full time, permanent job from day 1.
- Overtime which is paid at time and a half for each hour worked.
- 90 minutes of breaks per day, 30 minutes of which are paid - Break room includes free pool table and hot drinks.
