Job description
We are looking for a Warehouse Based HGV Driver (Class 2). Predominantly a warehouse position with Shunting but doubles up as a spare driver for our furniture delivery service.
Standard HGV driving work available too.
Duties include but limited to:
Loading and unloading vehicles
Goods-in inc, counting, cleaning repairing stock.
Checklist and app system compliance
Shunting in the yard
Assisting other departments, especially delivery work/driving
Keeping the yard tidy
Essential skills/experience:
Full UK class 2 licence
Valid CPC
Weekend work (at least 1 day per week)
Heavy lifting
Desirable:
London streets knowledge
Warehouse experience
Forklift licence
Events or furniture experience
These are challenging, but rewarding roles that are both hard work and sporadic hours across the week. We have internal progression, believe in development and some of our ops staff have become logistics managers or even software developers!
