Due to our continued growth, we are now looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives to enhance the best team on earth based in our warehouse at head office in Kirkcaldy on a temporary basis for a month to month contract.
Position overview
To show a high level of competency and organisational skills working within a team environment providing a total quality service to internal and external customers. Ensuring that a professional representation of the company, its services and values with a positive can do attitude are exhibited at all time.
These positions are temporary (fixed term contract directly with the business) from between 1 - 3 months.
Specific Responsibilities
- Ensuring that customer orders are picked and packed according to company procedures
- Ensuring the warehouse and yard are is kept clean & tidy at all times
- Ensuring incoming goods are handled according to company procedures
- Completing any company documentation required
- Work in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to H&S instructions and best practices
Skills, Knowledge and Education Requirements
- Ideally 2 years’ experience in similar warehouse environment.
- Valid Fork Lift Truck Driver Certification, for both Counterbalance and Reach trucks is ESSENTIAL.
- Numerate and literate.
- IT Literate - able to utilise basic Warehouse Management System.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Physical fitness to undertake duties including lifting and carrying heavy items.
