Senior Warehouse Operative
Due to a fantastic period of growth Allelys Group are recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative who is looking for the next step in their career! We are looking for a proactive and hands-on individual who would like to support the day-to-day activity of our Pallet Warehouse team.
You will be part of a network that delivers over 25,000 pallets per day, working closely with the Warehouse and Storage Manager to help support the daily operation of the business.
Allelys are one of the largest and most successful Abnormal load Transport and Heavy Lift companies in the UK. We move anything from bridge sections to tanks, and everything in between.
As a Senior Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for:
- The supervision of the team and warehouse daily operations.
- Ensuring the team are productive and on target.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Maintaining daily defect reports on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, VNA's, and hand pallet pump trucks.
- Assisting with customer inventory counts and stock queries.
- Ensuring a clean working environment.
You will have the following experience:
- Willing to be hands-on, a team player and use your initiative.
- Experience of organising and managing a small team/warehouse.
- Full driving licence and counterbalance licence.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive can-do attitude.
- Knowledge of Health & Safety.
- Good ICT skills.
- Experience of inventory control is desirable.

Salary
£12.50 per hour
Overtime £18.75 per hour
