We are currently looking for Senior Warehouse Operative, this role is efficient transfer of products from production to distribution and vice versa.

As a Senior Warehouse Operative:

• Ensure efficient palletisation of products received from Production
• Oversee tray end labelling (TELs) operation to ensure labels are generated and trays are labelled accurately
• Verify product information sheets (PI sheets) and update as necessary
• Confirm and record receipt and transfer of products between Production, Despatch and Riverbank distribution centre using the SAP system
• Ensure products are scanned and tagged accurately using the RFID scanning system by Dock Operatives.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate and consistent stock levels of despatch equipment i.e. trays/dollies/pallets (outgoing docks EW1, EW2, Riverbank)
• Induction and training of new starters and training and development of existing employees to ensure operatives are multi skilled in all areas of despatch
• Communicate overs/shorts and other relevant information to other departments including Production, backpacking and Gist on time and accurately
• Dealing with conflicting Production v Dock data regarding volumes of finished product
• Dealing with inaccuracies in date life data on RFID tag
