We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Manager to work DAYS 8am–8pm (0800-2000), 4 on 4 off for a leading fashion brand based in Hemel Hempstead. Free parking onsite, good public transport links, career development opportunities and more!!
This Warehouse Manager role is a permanent position working 4 on/ 4 off days (8am-8pm) with a salary up to £30,000 per annum, plus generous bonus, annual salary reviews and excellent opportunities to progress your career!
As Warehouse Team Manager , you will have responsibility for 30+ Warehouse Operatives as well as 2 Office Coordinators with responsibility for the following:
Ensuring the warehouse operation runs smoothly, accurately and cost effectively on your shift
Produce daily and weekly plans to achieve targets and monitor performance against standards
Ensure all Health and Safety policies are adhered to
Investigate and monitor all incidents identifying root cause and implementing recommendations.
Train, coach and mentor your team to drive them to perform to the highest standards.
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
At least 2 years’ experience working in a Warehouse Team Manager role or similar
Previous warehouse management experienceworking in a 24/7 operation
Proven success in managing teams of 30+
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Strong people management
Ability to think on your feet and work independently
Used to managing changing priorities
Good IT skills including excellent knowledge of Excel with knowledge of WMS
