In the IKEA world, we call this position a Goodsflow Team Leader. This is a hands on role where you will be working on the Warehouse floor daily, leading your team.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
Lead and develop a team of co-workers and build a confident team who strive for more.
Responsibility of looking after the welfare of co-workers in IKEA, supporting them through their career to set the right experience, and working with their development during their journey with IKEA. This will include developing co-workers, monitoring their performance, and taking those meaningful discussions around performance and welfare.
Communicate effectively with people from different positions and teams in the organisation and being responsible for communicating with co-workers during shift briefs, monthly meetings and individual 1:1s.
Conduct people-related meetings with your co-workers for processes such as absence and welcome back meetings, calculating scores and ensuring the right documentation is completed. Timekeeping of your co-workers and updating their schedules, entering holidays on KRONOS. Taking and managing difficult conversations with your co-workers if and when needed, and always with our IKEA values in mind.
Support your peer group and attend daily operational meetings and the wider management meeting.
Supporting operations and looking at resources and tasks, and completing tasks allocated by Goodsflow Management to ensure the daily smooth running of the day-to-day Operation.

- Living Wage Foundation Employer.
- Competitive salary for this role is £23,200.
- 39 hours a week working any 5 days from 7 including 2 out of 4 weekends.
- Flexibility on availability to be discussed during interviews.
- Shifts are between 8am to 11pm, working approx. 8 hours daily.
