Currently, we are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our operation at the Freeholds Grattan Warehouse, based off Thornton Road in Bradford. To be successful in this role you must be willing to go above and beyond to ensure the smooth running of all operational tasks. Previous Team Leading experience in a similar demanding warehouse environment is required, as well as an eye for detail and a will to improve, not just yourself, but the team around you.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

- To manage stock integrity: the receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely preparation and loading of goods for shipment.

- To organise and allocate the warehouse team's duties daily, to maintain high levels of motivation within the team to ensure that good teamwork leads to excellent customer service.

- Manage daily/weekly running costs – Staff Costs / Consumables etc.

- To plan and manage staffing resources effectively ensuring effective deployment and to carryout departmental induction for all new employees on their start date.

- Liaise with admin regarding any account queries and deal with them in a professional and timely manner, ensuring the customer is serviced as expected.

- Maintain a high standard of Health & Safety awareness and ensure all procedures are in place and they are followed.

- Ensure that all new staff are trained and that all Standard Operating Procedures are in place and clearly understood and adhered to.

- To ensure all new and existing customer accounts are managed as per the processes of any agreed SLA’s.

- Review and manage site performance data.

Essential Skills/Experience

- 12+ Months of Team Leading Experience

- VNA and Counterbalance Licence

- 2+ Years in a Fast Paced Warehouse Environment

- WMS System Experience

- Ability to adapt to competing priorities

- Autonomous Thinking

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00

Salary: £29,000.00
