Job role: Supervisor - Parcel Sortation Team (Night Shift)

Location: Leicester, LE4 2BN


Shift Pattern: Sunday-Thursday, 40 hours, 10pm - 6:30am


Salary: £30-32k per annum

Menzies Distribution are looking for an experienced Supervisor to lead our Parcel Sorting Team in our Leicester depot. You’ll be working on behalf of Menzies Distribution Limited and its customers. You’ll be responsible for the team operation, overseeing the labelling and sortation teams, ahead of onward distribution

At Menzies Distribution, our extensive national network delivers parcels in the business-to-business markets including for some of the largest UK high street and online brands and specialise in retail, office, education, and light industrial markets.

Supervisor Duties

  • Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will oversee the teams sorting and relabelling of parcels to support the operational process
  • Planning and balancing of delivery routes and ppreparation of routes for loadin
  • Covering various roles within the warehouse to support our distribution process.
  • Ensure a safe working environment to comply with Company Policy and Health & Safety Regulations.
  • Driving efficiency and delivering training to ensure safe and efficient process are followed.
  • Working in a team, ensuring the and leading by example
  • Loading and unloading

Supervisor Requirements

  • ‘Right To Work’ in the UK
  • Ability to lead and work in a team.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Confident working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ideally hold a PPT License
