Supervisor Vacancy
We are a very busy warehouse in which we process and dispatch all orders same day there’s always a lot of activity as we often have deals and large amounts of orders which all have to be dispatched the same day: but you’ll receive, support and a spirit of camaraderie!
The role will involve assisting the manager in the day-to-day organization, management, and carrying out of all tasks required in the operation of the picking/packing rooms. This is very much a ‘hands-on’ role and will involve overseeing the following:
- Managing website orders – from printing to picking to packing to ensure all daily orders are completed
- Allocation of daily tasks to individual team members, ensuring completion against key performance indicators
- Managing warehouse operatives and additional temp staff in busier periods
- Work to ensure operational excellence working alongside your team
- Carrying out a hands-on role as a member of the team to complete tasks across the warehouse including Pick/Pack and dispatch, loading, unloading, etc.
- Ensuring team understanding & continuing with Company Health & Safety Policy & Procedures
- Delivery of clear operational direction and management to the team including training and mentoring new members
- Ensure our courier collections run smoothly
Key Responsibilities:
· Preparing the correct paperwork for the packing room
· Ensuring conveyor system are operating efficiently
· Allocating daily jobs to employees
· Supervising staff to ensure all daily jobs are completed on time
· Ensure all orders are completed and dispatched with the relevant courier
· Ensuring all orders are accurately picked and packed
· Receiving and checking off supplier deliveries for accuracy
· Ensure Prepack department have stock ready as required
· Monthly stock take
· Any other duties as the department grows
