Warehouse Stores Operative
Bradford, BD12
£10.99 start-up to £12.02 per hour
Days – Monday to Thursday

We have immediate and ongoing starts for Warehouse Stores Operative with Warehouse experience. Our client, one the UK`s leading independent engineering and services businesses and specialists in Modular and Offsite manufacturing, are situated just off the M606 motorway – within easy access from south Bradford, south Leeds, Birstall, Halifax, and north Huddersfield areas.

We're recruiting for a Warehouse Stores Operative, with previous experience in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment to support the production team by loading and unloading, dealing with deliveries, receiving, checking, and examining the inventory of stock that arrives in warehouses and storage facilities where stock is held. Incoming goods are cross-referenced against the invoices to ensure there are no discrepancies. Work is in warehouses and storage facilities.

Successful candidates will have:

• Previous experience in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment
• Experience in Stores/Warehouse
• Fast learner
• Capable to work alone and in the team
• You will be extremely proficient in the us of all Microsoft office packages – including excel to intermediate.
• Have excellent attention to detail & accuracy
• Ideally you will have worked in a technical environment
• Liaising with the manufacturing shop floor

Duties:

• ​Receive deliveries of goods and supplies.
• Check for damaged or missing items.
• Store goods.
• Move stock around by hand, using lifting gear
• Keep records of stock.
• Keep paperwork up to date.
• Keep work areas clean.

​Working hours:

• Mon - Wed 07:00 - 17:00, Thu 07:00 - 16:30
• Friday available as overtime 07:00 - 13:00

Pay Rates:

£10.99 to £12.02 per hour

Overtime paid:

• Tx1.5 on hours worked over basic 37.5 hours Monday through Saturday
• Tx2 Sundays and Bank Holidays
