Due to continued success and growth, SHC Solutions Ltd are looking to add to the team. We are a customer centric distributor of building materials including paints, adhesives and mortars to the construction and coatings market. Having recently build a new facility in the Alton area, we are looking towards are next steps of our growth, by adding the right people.
We are seeking an experienced and motivated warehouse and customer service operative/ team leader/ manager. The succesful candiadte will be responsible for ensuring efficient running of the warehouse operations and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Picking, packing and shipping of customer orders in a timely manner.
- Receiving, inspecting and stocking of incomming materials and products
- Maintaining inventory levels and ensuring accuracy of stock records
- Operating a counter balance forklift truck to move and store products
- Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and well organised
- Providing exceptional customer service to clients by answering queries and resolving issues via phone or email.
- Processing orders and coordinating deliveries with couriers
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of sales and warehouse movements
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or logistics environments
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive and proactive approach to work
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to operate a counter balance forklift truck (License desirable)
- Good computer skills and ability to use warehouse management systems

Our organisation is looking for a hardworking individual to join our distribution team. The ideal candidate will be able to efficiently sort and pick items, deal with the general public, and work well in a fast-paced and demanding environment. The successful candidate will gain valuable warehouse experience while working in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
- Pick items from warehouse shelves and put them in boxes.
- Inspect new items and ensure they meet the right specifications.
- Direct forklift operators on how to transport goods.
- Move products using a pallet jack.
- Inspect shipping documents before goods are moved to their next destination.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £24,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
